What is Her mission?

Our Pilgrim Mother’s task and mission is to continually bring Jesus, her Son, anew to the world. She wants to conquer the hearts of many who long to be close to God in their daily lives. She brings the light and hope of the Lord into the lives of those who work with and receive her. She intercedes abundant graces to support religious and moral renewal of individuals, families, and all around Christian living. Our Blessed Mother needs willing and capable instruments to help her achieve her task and mission.

How does it work?

Our very own JP Catholic Pilgrim Mother wants to visit you in your home for a week! Sign up to get your place on the list. We will release the calendar and help facilitate the rotation of the blessed image from Sunday to Sunday. Write down your prayer intentions in the accompanying notebook and pray for all the intentions that have already been written there. Allow her motherly gaze to rest on you throughout your daily habits for a week; leave her reigning as Queen in your home or bring her along to your activities as you choose. Allow her to bring her Son, the Light of the world, to illumine you with His love.

The Pilgrim Mother has been visiting individuals and families ever since a poor, simple deacon took it upon himself to start this mission in Brazil in 1950.

That's right - this year the apostolate celebrates 75 years!
